Orientation
Moving to a new area, let alone a new country is always daunting. Language, cultural nuances, and the mere operational mechanics of everyday life can present time consuming and laborious obstacles. .
Through our orientation days we provide a general overview of the Town or city you would like to live in. Alternatively, we can take a good look at the towns and villages in the surrounding area, which are just as diverse in their atmosphere and appeal
We make contact with the client by telephone, find out the context and objective of the orientation, and explain the service to be provided. We send an Orientation Questionnaire to the client to enable us to focus on what is relevant. We set a date and time for meeting and agree a meeting point.
We meet the family and review the target area over coffee, using local maps and street maps to show housing and school locations as well as local attractions and facilities.
We drive to the selected areas, visiting all towns and villages in the area. , we visit as many suitable locations as possible. We review possible housing areas and schools, and use our knowledge of the property market to give examples of local sales and rental activity. We can drive past local schools where we will be pleased to arrange appointments on your behalf, if required. We visit shopping centres, sports centres, and other community resources in the area.
We return to our starting point and review what we've seen, what the family's general impressions of the area were, and what further action needs to be planned.
